Kabetogama Lake is ideal for anglers looking for wide open spaces, thousands of acres of cool, clean water and, of course, a large variety of fish.  Known for its world class walleye fishing, you can explore also warm water bays and inlets in search of sauger, smallmouth bass, northern pike and jumbo perch.  With over 200 islands, there is always a protected spot to fish even on the windiest of days.

Spring anglers can traverse the shallow bays and unending shorelines of Kabetogama Lake as fish leave their spawning beds and the shallow reefs.  June will find the walleye traveling to deeper waters as the weather, and the water, turns warmer.
